Email Security Service
Is your Exchange Mail Server secure?  Here are some of the security issues you should be concerned about:

Viruses, Trojans, and Worms – Any of these can destroy the data on your server, slow down the server and cause lockups, or just use up your Internet bandwidth.

Spam or UCE – Unsolicited Email, usually known as Spam, uses up Internet bandwidth, mail server processing time, and most importantly wastes users time spent reading and deleting it.  If a user spends an average of 10 minutes per business day reading and deleting Spam he has wasted or lost 3.33 hours per month of productivity.  With 30 employees this becomes 100 hours per month of lost productivity.

Phishing, Fraud, and Spoofing – This type of email is very dangerous since the objective of these emails is bank fraud, identity theft, and password theft.  Senders of these type of emails are continually improving the look of theses emails to entice users to click on them and become victims.

Lost Emails – If your mail server is not configured properly with a backup mail server, you will lose important email anytime your server goes down, is rebooted, or you lose your Internet connection.

The Dytech Group has a Mail Security Service that will address all of these security issues.

  1. All email is scanned for Spam, Phishing, Spoofing, and Viruses before it even
gets to your Exchange server.    This saves you Internet bandwidth and server processing time.
  2. Email and Virus definitions are updated hourly and a sophisticated program scans the email at our server before being sent to your Exchange server.
  3. Our Mail Security Service server is at a highly secure location with multiple high speed Internet connections and multiple types of redundant backup power service.
  4. Backup your mail connection. An additional backup mail server is located at another physical location to virtually eliminate the chance of lost email due to down servers or the Internet being down.
